What is a ZIP code?

A ZIP code (also known locally in various English-speaking countries throughout the world as a postcode, postal code, post code, PIN or ZIP Code) is a series of letters or digits or both, sometimes including spaces or punctuation for the purpose of sorting mail. You will be asked to complete this in your profile, and some surveys will also request this information to match you up with relevant surveys.
